Regular Pool Closure for Group Swimming LessonsDue to regular swimming lessons, all pool facilities excluding the hot tub will be closed from 5:40 - 6:55 p.m. Monday through Thursday until further notice. The hot tub will be available, but children must be supervised by an adult. Additionally, one lap lane will be available at this time. Open swim will then resume from 6:55 - 8 p.m.
Hours of Operation
The Chimney Park Pool is open Memorial Day Weekend through mid August. Please check back for a detailed schedule.
Rent the Chimney Park Pool for two hours for your private parties, reunions, or just because! Pool rentals are available on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays, from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. Reservations for the summer season will take place from April through August 2017. Please contact the Community Recreation Center at (970) 674-3500 for questions and available dates.

Group Swim LessonsRegistration are now open for Group Swim Lessons! Lesson registration will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline to register is the Friday before each session begins. Visit windsorgov.com/RecReg to get your household ID number ahead of time to make the online registration process as smooth as possible.

Private Swim LessonsSign up for a private 30 minute lesson for one or two people (same level only). Times are limited to instructor availability and are not available during group lessons. Three to eight lessons may be purchased at a time.
Cost: $20 for 1 person, $25 for two people, same level only
Inclement WeatherThere will be one safety day and one cancellation day built into each session before any refunds will be given. Please call Chimney Park Pool at (970) 674-0826 for weather cancellations.
The Windsor Lake offers many opportunities for recreational activities including:

*Dogs must be leashed at all times except at the located on the north side of Windsor Lake.
*Swimming is permitted within the designated Swim Beach Area ONLY marked by ropes and buoys.
*Swim diapers are requested for use with young children and are available at the concession stand.
Ingestion of untreated agricultural water such as Windsor Lake carries an inherent risk of possible exposure to pathogenic organisms. Individuals who have been ill are asked to refrain from entering the water.

USA Swimming Foundation’s Make a Splash Initiative
The USA Swimming Foundation’s Make a Splash initiative is a national child-focused water safety campaign, which aims to provide the opportunity for every child in America to learn to swim. Through Make a Splash, the USA Swimming Foundation partners with learn-to-swim providers and water safety advocates across the country to provide swimming lessons and educate children and their families on the importance of learning how to swim. The USA Swimming Foundation has invested millions of dollars to provide grants to qualified Local Partner learn-to-swim programs, to spread national awareness, and to bring together strategic partners to end drowning. To date, more than 5 million children have received the lifesaving gift of swim lessons through the USA Swimming Foundation Make a Splash Local Partner network, comprised of more than 850 qualified lesson providers across the nation.
