In 2010, the Town of Windsor adopted a intended to guide staff with future incorporation of artwork within our community. The plan recognizes that public art “enriches the public environment”, “promotes pluralism and diversity”, and “contributes to the civic pride of our community.”
Adopted on July 08, 2013, the Boardwalk Park Museum Landscape Master Plan, designed by Robert Peccia & Associates, laid the groundwork for creating a compelling setting for visitors. Enhanced interpretation, way finding, event space and an outdoor classroom space are envisioned for the site. The plan will be implemented in phases based on staff priorities and available funding.
