The Windsor Town Board named Teresa Ablao the town’s next municipal judge on Monday, Oct. 24.
Ablao is the current associate municipal judge for the Town of Windsor, and will replace the Hon. Michael E. Manning upon his retirement in December. Michelle R. Kline was appointed to fill the associate municipal judge position. Kline and Ablao will be sworn in on Monday, Dec. 12.
In addition to her time as the Windsor associate municipal judge, Ablao brings more than 15 years of extensive judicial experience to the role, including appointments as municipal judge in Wellington and Hudson, and associate municipal judge for the cities of Fort Collins and Greeley.
She has received a variety of awards, including the Metro Municipal Attorneys Association’s Outstanding Assistant City Attorney Award and the Fort Collins Police Services Meritorious Service Award. Ablao earned her undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University and her Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado.
Kline has worked as a prosecutor for 12 years, most recently as the assistant city attorney/municipal prosecutor for the cities of Thornton and Lakewood. She earned her undergraduate degree in criminal justice from Metropolitan State College of Denver and her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver.
