Windsor Youth Football Teams to Play in Championship Games

Two Town of Windsor youth football teams will compete in the Coal Creek Midget Football League (CCMFL) Championship Games November 5-6.

The Windsor 10-year-old team (6-0) will take on the Broomfield Eagles (5-1) for the CCMFL Division II Championship title at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Windsor High School varsity field. The team is coached by Jason Helm.

Led by Coach Dean Grable, the Windsor 11-year-old team (5-1) will compete for the CCMFL Division I Championship against the Northglenn Jets (6-0) at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, at Centaurus High School in Lafayette, Colo.

The 11-year-old team won the CCMFL Division II Championship last season and is looking to repeat as the Division I Champion this year.
