Northern-Lights-Shelter-WEB.jpg

Town of Windsor park shelters are available to rent now through the end of the year, during normal park hours, 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Information on each of Windsor’s 19 parks and their amenities can be found at windsorgov.com/shelters. Reservations can be made at windsorgov.com/shelters or by calling the Community Recreation Center at 970-674-3500.

While shelters may be reserved for private use, parks and their amenities may not be blocked from public use.

  • Alcohol is allowed, but limited to 3.2 percent cans.
  • Gas grills are limited to 300 square inches and one-pound containers.
  • Pet owners are responsible for pets, including — but not limited to — waste and destruction.

The following are not allowed in Windsor parks:

  • Glass containers
  • Portable charcoal grills
  • Tents and portable shelters after 6 p.m.
  • Littering
  • Horses
  • Golfing
  • Vehicles off roadways
  • Off-leash dogs, unless in a designated area
  • Pet snakes
