Windsor Seeking Public Feedback on Village East Park Design February 8

The Town of Windsor Parks, Recreation & Culture Department will hold an open house to discuss the design of the soon-to-be-constructed Village East Park from 6-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, in the Community Recreation Center’s Pine Room.

The future park will be located in the Village East subdivision at the intersection of Cherryridge Drive and Park Edge Circle. The park is anticipated to be complete in the fall of 2018.

The intent of the meeting is for town staff to garner input from the community on the design of the neighborhood park.

“We’re excited to collaborate with residents on the design of this new park,” said Parks, Recreation & Culture Director Eric Lucas. “At this meeting, we want to discuss and understand the elements and amenities that are important to the community and neighborhood.”

The planning process includes opportunities for youth participation, and staff encourages parents  to bring their children to the open house.

The Community Recreation Center is located at 250 N. 11th Street.
