Sealed Bids will be received by the Town of Windsor, Weld County, Colorado (hereinafter referred to as Owner), at the Town of Windsor Shop, 922 N. 15th Street, Windsor, CO 80550, until 2:00 P.M., local time, February 20, 2018, for the construction of:
Windsor Lift Station No. 5 Replacement
Town of Windsor, Weld County, Colorado
At said place and time, and promptly thereafter, all Bids that have been duly received will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Contract provides for the demolition of the Lift Stations No. 5 pump chamber, additions to the existing precast concrete wetwell, construction of anew valve chamber, provision of new pumping equipment, valves and piping, precast concrete electrical structure, electrical controls and electrical equipment. Also included is site work including new fencing and gate. The existing lift station must remain in service and sewage bypass pumping must be provided.
Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from http://www.questcdn.com. Upon payment of $25.00 for each set, documents may be obtained. No paper sets will be sold. No refunds of payments will be made. Bidding Documents will be available January 22, 2018, on the Questcdn site.
The Bidding Documents may be examined at the office of the ENGINEER.
A Mandatory Prebid meeting will be held at the Town of Windsor Shop, located at 922 N. 15th Street, Windsor, CO 80550 on February 6, at 2:00 PM., OWNER’s clock. The lift station site will be visited during the meeting.
Bidder Qualification forms are included in the Project Manual, and must be submitted with the bid. Bidders must be qualified contractors in the State of Colorado. Bids received from Bidders who are not recorded by the ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents will not be opened.
The Work is expected to be commenced within fifteen (15) days after the Date of Contract. Completion of the Work is required as specified in the Agreement.
Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid Price must accompany each Bid in the form specified in the Instructions to Bidders.
The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Construction Performance Bond and a Construction Payment Bond in the amounts of one hundred percent (100%) guaranteeing faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract.
