The Town of Windsor, Colorado will receive Sealed Bids for the "24-Inch Water Transmission Line - Connection to NWCWD" construction project, until 2:00 p.m., local time, Thursday, February 22, 2018.

The Scope of Work to be performed for this Contract will consist of installing approximately 10,200 LF of 24” potable waterline mainly across agricultural lands which includes three irrigation ditch crossings and crossing the City of Greeley water transmission lines. In addition, the scope of work includes installation of a pre-fabricated master meter station, electronic control valve vault, several gate and butterfly valves, site restoration and other miscellaneous work as indicated on the drawings and as specified herein.

Notice to Proceed Date for construction is anticipated to be March 5th, 2018. The project shall be substantially complete by December 1st, 2018 and finally complete by December 14th, 2018.

Submission of the Bid Document Request Form is the primary way prospective bidders will receive bidding documents and any future addendums. Failure to return this form may result in an incomplete bid. Project documents can also be picked up at the Town Hall, 301 Walnut St. for a fee of $50.00.

Prior to award, Bidders will be required to submit a Bidder Evaluation Form demonstrating the successful completion of municipal projects of similar size and scope within the past seven (7) years and has been in business for at least seven (7) years. Refer to the Bidder Evaluation Criteria, Section 00425, for specific Contractor Qualification requirements.
Special Requirements:
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held in the Windsor Town Hall, 301 Walnut Street, Windsor, CO 80550, on Thursday, February 8th, at 2:00 p.m., local time. All interested general contractors shall attend; bids will not be accepted from Contractors that do not attend this conference. All attendees shall register their attendance of this conference by signing the Town’s sign-in sheet.
