The Town of Windsor is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms with a proven track record and relevant project experience related to providing professional engineering services for the study and design of a storm drainage system from Chestnut Street to Eastman Park Drive.

The Chestnut Street to Eastman Park Drive Drainage Study/Design is a two component project.  The first component involves a detailed review of the current Town of Windsor Drainage Master Plan followed by further drainage evaluation and development of two conceptual alternative drainage design alignments and associated conceptual construction costs.  After selection of the preferred alternative is made by Town staff, the consultant will develop final design drawings for construction of the selected alternative and final construction cost estimate.

The drainage system improvements start at Chestnut Street near Chimney Park and extending south approximately 3,400 feet to Eastman Park Drive near Cornerstone Drive.  The project is expected to include design and construction of a stormline approximately 36” in diameter from Eastman Park Dr. near Corner Stone Dr. north to Folkstone Park.  Detention pond improvements are expected at Folkstone Park. A crossing structure is to be designed and constructed at Garden Dr. near Folkstone Park.  The remaining portion of the project includes drainage conveyance improvements from Chestnut Street to Folkstone Park. 

Three (3) copies of the proposal package and one (1) electronic copy must be submitted to the Town of Windsor by 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 13, 2018.  Proposals can be mailed or hand delivered to Attn: Doug Roth, 301 Walnut Street, Windsor, Colorado 80550. Proposals shall be sent in a sealed envelope and clearly labeled: “RFP for Chestnut Street to Eastman Park Drive Drainage Study/Design”.

Please refer to the entire RFP for specific instructions regarding submittal requirements, proposed scope of work, consultant evaluation and selection process.  A complete copy of the RFP can be obtained by completing the “RFP Document request form”

Questions regarding this solicitation should be in writing directed to Doug Roth, Project Manager.  The deadline for submitting questions is 5:00 pm., June 5, 2018.

To receive RFP documents and any future addendums, you must complete the RFP Document Request Form and return it via email or fax ((970) 674-3492 - Attn. Doug Roth).  The return of this form is the primary way prospective consultants will receive RFP documents and any future addendum.  Failure to return this form may results in a incomplete proposal.
