    Town of Windsor Mayor Kristie Melendez is joining mayors across the country in asking residents to make a long-term commitment to manage water resources more wisely by taking part in the annual Wyland National Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation April 1-30 — and in return residents can win a new Toyota Prius, water-saving fixtures, and hundreds of other prizes.

  2. Training Event - Treasure Island Demonstration Garden

    Volunteers maintain the garden on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon, during the growing season. No experience is necessary, however interested volunteers are asked to attend this training session at Treasure Island Demonstration Garden. “Treasure Island is maintained by a dedicated group of volunteers who work to enhance a section of the Poudre River Trail for everyone’s enjoyment,” said Kawamura. “In 2016, our volunteers put in more than 1,700 hours of work to maintain the site! There is always something blooming during the growing season and we’re always looking for volunteer help.”
