Tracy Beach, author of the book “The Tunnels Under Our Feet-Colorado’s Forgotten Hollow Sidewalks” and other non-fiction history books, will visit the Town of Windsor on Thursday, April 18, to conduct research on the 5th Street tunnel between the 1908 hospital and Windsor Memorial Chapel.
The public is invited to hear Beach speak to the Rotary Club at the Community Recreation Center Spruce room, 250 N. 11th St., Thursday, April 18th at 12:30 p.m. There will also be additional time from 1 to 2 p.m. to purchase her books, as well as interview those with knowledge of Windsor’s historic tunnel system.
Meet and mingle with Beach during Windsor Art & Heritage Center’s Crafty Cabaret from 6 to 8 p.m. Crafty Cabaret is a free public event sponsored by High Hops where residents participate in a community craft activity, enjoy music, and beer (21+). The Art & Heritage Center is located at 116 5th St.

Bring arts and culture to your entire family with our monthly museum open house events! On the third Thursday of every month, the Art & Heritage Center will transform into a community art center where everyone can participate in a variety of collaborative art projects, from giant paint-by-numbers to painted quilts. Live music will be featured at each event, and FREE beer will be provided by High Hops Brewery.
