Overview
On May 22, 2008 right before noon, the Town of Windsor was struck by an EF3 tornado.  With very little warning, the community took shelter, suffering property damage to residential, commercial and governmental structures.  The Town responded immediately to concerns of health, safety and shelter, and continued to be involved in the long term recovery process.  Additionally the Town led several initiatives that resulted in improved facilities and services.  Windsor has rebuilt bigger, better and greener.
