Periodically, the Town of Windsor recruits motivated, civic-minded citizens to assist our community through voluntary service on local Advisory Boards and Commissions. The Town Board appoints all board and commission members.
Applications are currently being accepted through August 31 for the following advisory board positions:
Planning Commission – One alternate member term expiring March 2019
Water and Sewer Board – One regular member term expiring March 2019
Windsor Housing Authority – One Regular member term expiring March 2021
Downtown Development Authority – One regular member term expiring June 2020 and one regular member term expiring June 2022. See qualification requirements on application
Parks, Recreation and Culture Advisory Board – Two regular member terms, expiring September 2022
Tree Board – Two regular member terms, expiring September 2022
Interested community members must submit an application by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, with interviews scheduled shortly thereafter.
