Water Line Installation Delays and Closures on Colorado Blvd.

UPDATE: Tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 20, lane closures will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. This lane closure will remain ongoing at the updated time through Friday, Sept. 23 with a full lane closure on Saturday, Sept. 24.

ORIGINAL: Starting Monday, Sept. 19 through Friday, Sept. 23, there will be lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Colorado Blvd. starting from Highway 392 and stretching a quarter-mile south for water line instillation. A full closure will take place on Saturday, Sept. 24 to minimize the impact of work week commuter and school traffic.

Hikers and bikers will not be able to cross over Hwy 392 onto the Colorado Blvd. Trail extension.

Milling and overlay will take place starting Oct. 1. All road work is weather permitting and subject to change.

The water line instillation project on Colorado Blvd. south of Hwy. 392 will remain awaiting completion until further notice. Commuters will not be impacted.

The Colorado Blvd. construction south of Hwy. 392 is nearing completion and will be applying milling and overlay to the road starting the week of Oct. 10 and lasting until the end of October. The road will remain open, but residents are encouraged to detour during peak hours and reminded to use caution in work zones as crews complete the overlay. All road work is weather permitting and subject to change.

Road work will now be extended through Friday, Sept. 30. The current 2-lane configuration will remain in place.
