Windsor Fall Yard Waste Clean-Up Rescheduled for Nov. 16

It’s hard to rake leaves when the ground is covered in snow. Because of the weather, the Town of Windsor has decided to reschedule its Fall Yard Waste Clean-Up event for Saturday, November 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event was originally scheduled for Saturday, November 2.

On November 16, Windsor utility customers with valid identification such as a driver’s license or copy of their utility bill are invited to participate. Weather permitting, the event allows residents to dispose of general lawn waste such as grass, bush and garden clippings, leaves, pumpkins, general yard debris, and tree branches no larger than 10 inches diameter. The event is free for Town of Windsor utility customers and takes place at Eastman Park South, located near Treasure Island Demonstration Garden.

Residents are encouraged to take unaccepted items to either the Larimer County Landfill at 5887 S. Taft Hill Road in Fort Collins or the North Weld Landfill at 40000 Weld County Rd. 25 in Ault.
