The Town of Windsor will hold a dedication and open house for the Public Services facility Thursday, September 10 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 922 North 15th St.
Approximately $8 million of facility additions were completed at the Public Services campus this year. They include an addition to the administration office building, a cold storage facility for public works, a parks maintenance facility, a climate-controlled warehouse to house Windsor Museum artifacts and a decant facility to aid in stormwater compliance. The new administration building addition houses Windsor’s Parks, Forestry and Open Space & Trails departments in addition to the Information Technology and Human Resources Departments. This new facility expansion builds off of the $10 million public works facility installation dedicated in 2017.
The dedication will include remarks from Mayor Paul Rennemeyer, town staff and project partners. Guided tours of the facility will be available following the dedication presentation. Visitors will be asked to wear a mask while touring the facility.
The Public Services facility updates would not have been possible without project partners at Infusion Architects, FCI Construction and Wember.
