Labor Day Closures Planned for Town of Windsor Facilities

Windsor, CO — Town of Windsor facilities will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7 in observance of Labor Day. This includes Windsor’s Town Hall, 301 Walnut St., the Community Recreation Center, 250 N. 11th St., the Public Services campus, 922 N. 15th St., and Chimney Park Pool, 421 Chimney Park Dr. Normal operating hours for each of these facilities resumes on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

The Police Department administrative offices are also closed Sept. 7, however, officers remain on duty. The Police Department can be reached on the non-emergency line at 970-674-6400 option 1. In the case of an emergency, dial 911.

Starting Sept. 12, the Community Recreation Center will have extended hours on Saturdays and Sundays. The facility will be open until 4:45 p.m on Saturdays and on Sundays it will be open until 6 p.m. for fitness reservations and until 6:30 p.m. for pool reservations. This year, Chimney Park Pool is extending its season. Beginning Friday, Sept. 11 through Oct. 4, Chimney Park Pool will be open on Fridays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 6:30 p.m., weather permitting.
