Town of Windsor administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day. This includes Town Hall, 301 Walnut St., Public Services, 922 N. 15th St., and the Police Department, 200 N. 11th St. Although the Police Department administrative offices are closed, officers remain on duty. The Police Department can be reached on the non-emergency line at 970-674-6400 and residents are always encouraged to dial 911 for emergencies. Additionally, Windsor’s Town Hall will also be closed to the public on Friday, November 12th, due to ongoing construction. Residents are encouraged to utilize Town of Windsor virtual services.
The Community Recreation Center, 250 N. 11th St., will remain open with regular hours, 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. In recognition of Veterans Day, admission for veterans is free that day. Veterans can also take advantage of signing up for a new 3-month or annual membership and receive a 20% holiday discount. General admission for the Community Recreation Center is $3.00 for children 5 and under, $4.00 for youth ages 6 to 17 and adults 62 years and older and $5.00 for adults 18 and older.
