The Town of Windsor is hosting Bike Everywhere Day on Wednesday, June 28. Participants are encouraged to ride their bikes and explore Windsor by visiting various stations across town throughout the day.

Community members can stop at Bike to Breakfast from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. on Main Street, outside of Spokes Bike Shop. Breakfast burritos will be provided by Heidi Washburn of State Farm Insurance and Bike to Work Day t-shirts will be provided by the City of Greeley.

The Bike to Boardwalk station will be at the Market Pavilion at Boardwalk Community Park from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Community members can get a frozen treat and a #2 Ditch Trail t-shirt. The Windsor History Museum will be open for visitors.

Community members that are 21 or older are invited to High Hops Brewery for Bike to Happy Hour from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The first 25 cyclists can get one free beer; following cyclists can receive one half price beer. This station will have limited edition cycling caps and there will be a bicycle trivia challenge.

The last station for Bike Everywhere Day is Bike Night, brought to you by the Windsor Police Department and the Windsor Optimist Club. Community members are invited to this annual event, featuring helmet and bicycle safety checks, a cone course, a helmet giveaway (while supplies last), and more. The event is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Windsor High School west parking lot.

This year’s Bike Everywhere Day is brought to you by the Town of Windsor, Spokes Bike Shop, High Hops Brewery and Heidi Washburn – State Farm Insurance.
