During the week of October 21st, construction will begin on the Weld County Road 13 bridge over the Poudre River which will require CLOSING County Road 13 for approximately 10 days. The bridge deck (i.e. top surface of the bridge) is in need of rehabilitation due to poor condition of the concrete driving surface.
Understanding that Weld County Road 13 is an important road for residents and the general public traveling in and through Windsor, all reasonable efforts are being made to keep the bridge closure to the minimum amount practical. The bridge will be closed to traffic for a minimum of 10 days for concrete repair pending any weather delays. Variable message boards will be placed near the bridge prior to closure with up to date information on specific date for start of road closure. The bridge will be closed as early as October 21st, but no later than October 23rd. Reopening of the bridge is anticipated November 2nd.
