The Town of Windsor municipal election will be held April 8, 2014 for Board Members to represent Districts 2, 4, and 6.
For registered electors in Districts 2, 4, and 6 who wish to run for a Board Member position, candidate packets will be available beginning January 14, 2014 on the Town of Windsor website (check back for active link) or at the Windsor Town Hall, 301 Walnut Street.
Nominations petitions will be available for pick up beginning January 21, 2014. Petitions can be circulated beginning Monday, January 21, 2014 and must be turned in to the Clerk’s office by Monday, February 10, 2014 at 5:00 p.m.
To run for a Board Member position, a person must be a registered voter, be a citizen of the United States, be at least 18 years of age by election day, be a Windsor resident who has lived in Windsor and in their respective District for at least 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election, not have been convicted of a felony and cannot be an employee of the Town.
