[ARCHIVED] Concrete Work Along Streets and in Parks

On Wednesday, August 20th the Town of Windsor will begin work on the Concrete Improvement Project - 2014. The contractor will begin replacing concrete on streets that have been selected for the 2014 mill & overlay program (Garden Drive: 1st Street to State Highway 257; Tuckaway Court; Canyon Court; Highland Cove Drive; and 5th Street: Main Street to Ash Street). This work should not entail any road closures, but beware of workers on the side of the streets.

Once these streets are completed, they will move on to installing and/or replacing concrete within seven parks or trails for ADA compliance (Highland Meadows Park, Founders Green Park, Windsor Village Park, Windsor West Park, Windsor Lake Trail, Poudre Pooch Park, & Eastman Park Oxbow Parking Lot).

Finally, the contractor will replace concrete that is associated with the Town’s annual miscellaneous concrete replacement program; these locations vary. All properties adjacent to any concrete work will receive a notice in their front door 24-48 hours prior to the removal of the concrete. This year’s work will be completed by Thoutt Bros. Concrete Contractors.

Thanks and please be cautious! Additional information may be obtained by contacting the Town's Engineering Department.
