New water rates will be going into effect in 2015 for Windsor residential water utility customers. The Town of Windsor rates will be increasing by 1.33% in 2015. The Town of Windsor purchases water from three suppliers; the City of Greeley, North Weld County Water District, and Fort Collins-Loveland Water District with only the City of Greeley increasing rates in 2015.
The rates and tiers for single family residential accounts will be as follows:
1st tier usage charge (per 1,000 gallons): $3.62 for up to 16,000 gallons per month
2nd tier usage charge (per 1,000 gallons): $5.40 for 16,001 through 22,500 gallons per month
3rd tier usage charge (per 1,000 gallons): $8.05 for use over 22,500 gallons per month
The updated rates will be in effect starting with meter reads in January, 2015 and reflected on the billing statements received by water utility customers in February, 2015.
