April 2nd, 2015 marks the 125th anniversary of the Town of Windsor. The Town invites the community to celebrate all year long! The theme for this special milestone is, “honoring our past – celebrating our future.” This theme will be incorporated into many of our community events throughout the year.
March 23rd - The public is invited to the Quasquincentennial Kick-off – official ceremony proclamation of the 125th Anniversary at the Town Board meeting on March 23rd at 7:00 pm at Town Hall, 301 Walnut Street. After the proclamation, cake and punch will be served and look for the Town Hall to have a special lighting. Street light banners celebrating Windsor’s 125th will also be hung on Main Street and at Town Hall this month.
April 2nd - High Hops is joining in the celebration by brewing a special beer for the occasion – 1890 Red. Join the Town of Windsor and High Hops on April 2nd in the evening at High Hops Brewery, 6461 HWY 392 for the official unveiling of this Windsor 125th anniversary beer. Stay tuned for the exact time of the event.
Also beginning April 2nd through the rest of 2015, Town employees are encouraged to give back to the community with 125 Hours of Giving! Town employees will track volunteer time as well as be allowed up to 2 hours of worktime during 2015 to do community service.
