[ARCHIVED] Windsor Police Respond to Vehicle-Pedestrian Accident

The Windsor Police Department responded to a vehicle-pedestrian traffic accident at 7th Street and Hemlock Drive at approximately 5:05 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21.

Officers determined that three female teenagers were crossing 7th Street at the crosswalk when a southbound sport utility vehicle struck two of the three pedestrians. The pedestrians were transported to Medical Center of The Rockies and are being treated for head and upper/lower torso injuries.

The driver of the sport utility vehicle was cited for careless driving resulting in injury and failure to yield the row at a crosswalk.

The accident remains under investigation by the Windsor Police Department; no additional information is being released at this time.
