Town of Windsor Town Manager Kelly Arnold resigned his post, effective Tuesday, Nov. 21.

“The decision to resign was made in agreement with Town Board,” said Town of Windsor Mayor Kristie Melendez. “This administrative change was made to position Windsor for success as we continue to grow and evolve as a regional leader.”

Arnold held the role of Town Manager since May 2007.

“I want to recognize Kelly’s efforts over the last decade,” said Melendez. “His leadership helped bring our town to where we are today.

“We look forward to the new perspectives and skills that will be brought to the position with this new direction. Town Board is confident that this is the right path for our community’s future.”

Town Board will work to appoint an interim Town Manager, while simultaneously beginning the process to appoint a new Town Manager. Information will be released as available.

“During this transition, I want to assure our community that it will be business as usual for town operations,” said Melendez. “Our staff will continue to provide the high level of customer service for which we are known.”
