The Town of Windsor municipal election will be held April 3, 2018, for Town Board Member representatives in districts 2, 4, 5, and 6. Packets for interested candidates are now available on the Elections page or at Town Hall.
To run for a board position, a person must be:
- A registered voter
- A citizen of the United States
- At least 18 years of age by election day
- A Windsor resident who has lived in Windsor and in their respective district for at least 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election
- Not a convicted felon or a town employee
Candidates are required to obtain at least 10 signatures of registered electors residing in Windsor corporate limits or in the candidates’ district. Nomination petitions will be available at Town Hall beginning Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018. Petitions can be circulated beginning January 2 and must be returned to the Town Clerk’s office by 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22.
