The Town of Windsor Art & Heritage Center will host its latest community art exhibit, “H2O Art Show,” May 18 through August 5.
Over sixty artworks from dozens of local artists are on exhibition showcases the natural beauty of water. From photography, quilts, and mixed media, to watercolor, pastel, and oil paintings, this exhibit has something for everyone to enjoy.
“It’s amazing to see how water inspires and effects all of us. We have so many talented people in our community and this exhibit provides local artists with a venue to show their work.” said Museum Curator Caitlin Heusser.
Artists compete for first, second, third, and community choice awards. First through third places will be announced at the awards reception on Friday, May 18 between 6-7:30. The public is encouraged to attend. Light refreshments and complementary beer from exhibit sponsor, High Hops will be served.
Visitors can vote for their favorite artwork to win the Community Choice Award which will be announced at the conclusion of the exhibition. If your walls are a little bare, select artworks are available for purchase.
The exhibit is free and open to the public from noon to 4 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. The Art & Heritage Center is located at 116 5th Street.
