The Town of Windsor has earned its tenth annual Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) from the 2017 fiscal year. The award is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting and the Town is particularly proud of former Budget Analyst Vicki Miller who was instrumental in maintaining these stellar reporting standards over the last ten years.

The award was judged by an impartial panel to meet high standards which includes demonstrating a “spirit of full disclosure” to clearly communicate its financial story.
