  1. Community Donation Drive Through Event

    Windsor High School Parking Lot

    Join Mayor Paul Rennemeyer as he volunteers at a supply donation event as part of his commitment to serve our community! Mayor Rennemeyer will be volunteering at the Light the World Community Donation Drive-Through event on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. to noon, in the Windsor High School parking lot. The event benefits Mary’s Cradle, Windsor Food Pantry, His Little Feet, and Stepping Stones. Here are some of the items that will be collected at this event: new and gently used children's clothing and toys, non-perishable food donations, diapers, formula, wipes, toilet paper, hygiene products such as unopened toothpaste and soap, and they will also be collecting financial donations. The event will happen, rain or shine, so please consider making a donation in support of those who live in our community.

    Santa arrives on the Great Western Railway Train at 4 p.m.! After his arrival, Santa and Town of Windsor Mayor, Paul Rennemeyer, will kick off this year’s event with the annual Tree Lighting ceremony. Transforming the Windsor History Museum into a wonderland of lights, holiday activities, and fun! Santa will be available for professional pictures (must be in line by 7:30 p.m.).

    The Town of Windsor Arts Commission will be hosting its first event series featuring a variety of professional local artists. The Windsor Arts Commission invites you to the ART LIVE! series. Engage with professional artists and watch the creative process live while learning more about community art plans in Windsor. On Saturday, Dec. 3, from 5 to 8p.m. at the Windsor History Museum, 100N 5th St., during Windsor Wonderland, Ice Sculptor Ed Winslow will transform a block of ice into a work of art.

    Coffee with the Mayor is a regularly occurring event that allows Windsor residents to attend and discuss their questions, concerns, and ideas with Mayor Paul Rennemeyer. Coffee with the Mayor will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. a.m. at the Community Recreation Center, 250 11th St. The event is free and coffee is provided. Come with questions. Come with comments. Come for coffee and conversation!
